王先生原本就有痛風性關節炎的宿疾，近日氣溫飆升，稍稍活動常常就弄得滿頭大汗、口乾舌燥，所以儘管醫生叮嚀切忌啤酒，還是禁不起誘惑，猛灌兩瓶啤酒下肚後，第二天一早醒來便因左腳腫痛無法下床，最後還勞師動眾讓兒子背著去看門診，乖乖冰敷、吃藥三天才脫離不良於行的窘境。

**痛風與尿酸濃度息息相關**

**痛風**的發作與尿酸有密切的關係，嚴格來說是跟體內的尿酸濃度忽高忽低、上下波動有關，況且尿酸的排泄主要是經由腎臟，跟著小便排出體外，所以在夏天裡，汗流的多，尿量相對變少，若水分攝取不足，體內的尿酸濃度便會飆升，痛風自然而然就找上門。雖需補充水分，但透心涼啤酒可是碰不得，一旦啤酒下肚，非但體內尿酸爆升，同時因為啤酒會減緩腎臟對尿酸的排泄，所以會導致身體的尿酸濃度雪上加霜，一發不可收拾了。

**多喝水、少碰酒及高尿酸食物 遠離痛風**

在酷熱的夏天裡要防止痛風發作，首先當然是要補水以維持正常的尿量，提醒以目前的氣溫來說，一天需要水分大約是2500 cc，並且以開水為宜，若汗流多可在飲水中加幾粒鹽巴，適當補充電解質，但切忌喝含果糖的飲料，因為果糖的終極代謝產物會貢獻在體內的尿酸指數上。水份補足，尿量也達標後就是忌口了，高尿酸食物如海鮮、內臟等當然只可淺嚐，啤酒更是絕對禁忌。
