骨質疏鬆症是隱形殺手，多數人以為補鈣就能預防；事實上，補充足夠的維生素D，能夠加強鈣質吸收儲存，讓補鈣事半功倍，同時還可減少許多疾病的發生。

維生素D是維持人體正常生長及健康的重要營養素，也是具有多重生理作用的荷爾蒙。根據研究顯示，維生素D缺乏恐造成全身性疾病。

人體90％的維生素D是透過日曬產生，要是擔心日曬的紫外線傷害，又無法從食物中完整補充，最簡單的方法就是選擇使用高劑量保健品，但市售保健產品琳瑯滿目，要怎麼選擇才能吃得安心呢？

停經後婦女及老年人是骨質疏鬆症的高危險族群，建議每天補充維生素D 800~1000 IU，如果要預防骨折還需搭配1000毫克的鈣，也有助於改善血壓和遠離癌症。
