#  咳嗽原因多 有痰沒痰治療大不同

引起咳嗽的原因多樣性，像是感冒、慢性鼻炎伴隨鼻涕倒流或胃食道逆流等，恐都會埋下咳嗽危險因子，想治療咳嗽，有民眾會喝蜂蜜幫助止咳，但又有另外一種說法，認為若吃甜食反而容易生痰；中醫醫師鄒曉玲指出，其實兩種說法都沒錯，但是得看適用在哪種甜食和病症上，才能真正發揮療效。

#### 痰多咳嗽 吃甜食恐症狀加劇

像是急性咳嗽多為呼吸道感染導致，這時就得透過清淡飲食，且就醫治療才能有效改善，若為慢性咳嗽，又可分為痰多的咳嗽以及沒有痰的乾咳；鄒曉玲醫師表示，若為痰多的咳嗽，應避免食用甜食，尤其市面上的甜食大多含有許多化學添加物和香料，這類零食不但容易生痰，也容易生火，使症狀加劇。

#### 蜂蜜質地溫潤 有助於止燥咳

另外若為消化功能不佳的人感冒後，容易痰多又稠，或是因胃食道逆流造成咳嗽者，若吃甜食或油膩食物，都會使咳嗽頻率增加；鄒曉玲指出，但若為燥咳，因沒有痰，且喉頭常常乾燥導致咽喉刺激感，這時就可透過蜂蜜達到潤肺止咳效果，尤其過去調味品沒有糖，多以蜂蜜代糖，不但質地溫潤，且有潤肺等功效，還可改善便祕、乾咳久嗽、皮膚乾燥等症狀。

#### 久咳不癒 應盡快就醫找出原因

咳嗽原因較複雜，若長期有咳嗽問題，應盡快就醫檢查，找出原因，對症下藥才是解決咳嗽的不二法門；鄒曉玲醫師呼籲，平時也應保持均衡營養的飲食習慣，多選擇天然食材為主，減少吃甜食餅乾，降低導致咳嗽因子，必要時也可諮詢專業中醫師幫忙。 (鄒曉玲 - 奇美醫學中心中醫部總醫師)
