#  含矽食物 有助預防肝癌？

矽（Selenium-Se）這種營養素存在於蔬菜、魚類、貝類、紅肉、牛奶與雞蛋等食物當中。歐洲研究團隊近日發表一項研究顯示，血液中的矽濃度較高，或可降低肝癌風險。此研究成果已發表於《美國臨床營養學期刊》（American Journal of Clinical Nutrition）。

**身體缺矽 肝癌風險暴增**

矽這種元素本來就存在於土壤、植物中，人類、動物吃下食物、經過消化後，矽就會進入體內。而各地土壤的矽含量不太一樣，舉例來說，像歐洲土壤中的矽濃度就比北美來得低。

體內矽含量若不足，身體較容易產生一些疾病，研究作者德國柏林大學夏麗特醫學院實驗內分泌研究所教授盧茲．尚伯表示，研究顯示，身體缺矽，可能是肝癌主要風險因子之一。從研究數據可發現，所有人口中，血液中矽濃度最低族群，出現肝癌風險比一般人增加5到10倍之多。

在這項病例對照研究當中，歐洲研究學者以47萬7千位民眾、肝癌患者為研究對象，追蹤10年時間。研究人員為這些人驗血，以了解他們體內的矽濃度高低。因而得到上述結論。

**均衡飲食 矽濃度自然足夠**

研究作者解釋，研究並沒有證明矽營養補充劑可以直接預防肝癌，不過這項研究再一次確認營養均衡的重要性，而矽營養素正是均衡飲食的一環。過去研究也發現，一個人的矽濃度不足，可能增加大腸癌、甲狀腺自體免疫疾病的風險。

當一個人矽濃度不足，可能增加肝癌風險，而血液中的矽濃度過高，一樣也會造成問題。根據外電報導，矽濃度過高可能引起矽中毒。矽中毒症狀包括掉髮、指甲病變、噁心、倦怠、煩躁、輕度神經受損等。因此攝取含矽食物、營養補充品時，過猶不及都可能對身體造成傷害。
