#  吃白米可致命？

 從小到大，白飯絕對是我們每天不能缺少的主食之一。如果現在告訴你吃白米可以置人於死地，而且吃得多風險更多，我一定把你嚇壞了。現在各大米商為求令稻米外觀更吸引，不惜把白米弄得更白、更精鍊，不但令所有營養盡失。

英國醫學期刊發表報告指出「吃白米與患二型糖尿病」研究，指出吃白米越多，患上二型糖尿病機會愈大。而糖尿病不管一型二型，若控制不好，可引致多種併發症，嚴重者更會引致死亡。

研究更指出，亞洲人士吃白米較西方國家人士較多，患上二型糖尿病風險高55%。而每日吃多一碗白飯，可令患上二型糖尿病風險增加到11%，因此真的建議減少吃白米，除了白米，我們仍有其他不同選擇。
