產後是女性調整體質的好時機，但是如果補錯了，不只勞民傷財，而且後患無窮。產後與平時一樣，吃藥、進補都需要看體質。過去，生活條件差，粗茶淡飯多勞動，或許以虛寒體質多見。現代，膏粱厚味，多坐少動，常熬夜，反而以虛熱體質為多見。

**若水腫嚴重 產後宜清淡飲食**

過去經常腹瀉、吸收差、經期容易水腫，或是孕期水腫嚴重的媽媽，在產後若是直接大補氣血，會增加脾胃的負擔，反而易腹瀉，無法吸收。因此產後的飲食應以清淡好消化為主，避免過度冰冷、油膩、甜食。適時的補充蛋白質是必要的，但若是大魚大肉則會增加脾胃的負擔，建議少量多餐。藥膳方面，先以健脾利水為主，可於常見的四神湯，加入黨參、蓮子、扁豆、白果、陳皮、澤蘭等，幫助消化吸收，也可加速產後體內多餘水分的代謝，幫助恢復好身材。

**熬夜火氣大 飲食這樣吃**

若是孕前常熬夜火氣大，多食補則冒痘痘、口臭、嘴破、便秘，或是常發濕疹的媽媽，此時若服用一般的八珍、十全大補，無疑是火上加油。可以六味地黃湯為加減，選用熟地、山藥、山茱萸、茯苓、丹皮、澤瀉、菟絲子、何首烏、麥門冬、知母等。茶飲方面，可配合觀音串、荔枝殼煮水代茶。而一般月子餐常見的麻油雞，則應酌量食用，也可以苦茶油帶麻油，並去酒。

**怕冷及哺乳媽咪 就要這樣吃**

若平時就怕冷、經期頭暈疲倦、月經結束腰痠等氣血較虛的媽媽，就可酌量服用八珍湯、十全大補等藥膳。平時身體健康，體質平和的媽媽，則在飲食及藥膳方面宜多樣少量，均衡飲食，如此則可不失平衡。若需哺乳，則記得比平時多點湯湯水水及蛋白質即可。另外，月子期間也可煮杜仲水，代茶水或用其調理飲食，可強壯腰膝，改善腰酸背痛的症狀。

**產後心靈照護更重要**
