#  吃椰子油防失智症 醫：恐得不償失

全世界每3秒就有1人罹患失智症。日前網路上瘋傳吃椰子油可預防，不少民眾一大早起床就先喝一口，早餐拿麵包沾著吃，以為可以延緩大腦退化；不過，醫師強調，目前沒有證據顯示吃椰子油可預防失智症，且椰子油為飽和脂肪，過量攝取恐增加心血管疾病風險，失智風險也大增。

**椰子油不能預防失智症**

台灣臨床失智症學會秘書長、成大醫院精神部主治醫師張維紘指出，根據美國心臟協會研究指出，使用椰子油可能因飽和脂肪酸上升，進而增加心血管疾病風險，而心血管疾病正是造成失智症的元兇之一；日本也大篇幅報導，沒有證據顯示椰子油可預防失智症。

**吃腦補腦更傷腦**

張維紘表示，國人熱愛食補，而失智症是腦部功能退化造成，以為吃豬腦可補人腦，但動物的大腦為高油脂、高膽固醇食物，吃多不利心血管健康，同樣會增加失智症風險。

**多吃魚油、菠菜抗氧化**

如何預防失智症呢？張維紘強調，規律生活、正確飲食，才是降低失智症風險的最好方法，可多吃魚油、花椰菜、菠菜等抗氧化、抗發炎食物，才有助延緩失智症發生、病程惡化；若有退化徵兆，或出現相關失智症狀，應盡早就醫尋求醫師協助。
