熱呼呼的火鍋香氣四溢，讓人看了不禁食指大動，每到冬天，吃鍋變成全民運動，卻可能隱藏高血壓的危機。一名29歲男性，因衝刺事業三餐不定時，常常吃鍋物，結果卻開始經常性地感到頭痛、暈眩，血壓更一度拉警報。

陳柏臣醫師, 中英醫院, 說明，火鍋中單一昆布湯就可能含有2574mg的鈉，再加上重口味的沾醬，非常容易攝取超標，此時人體排尿次數會變多，間接導致血液中鈣離子代謝加速，形成高血壓，嚴重更有引發心肌梗塞、中風的風險。

營養師建議，要改善身體鈣離子的不足、除了少鹽少油少吃鍋的飲食控制外，平時容易取得的牛乳，也是鈣質好來源，民眾可以選擇標榜高鈣的產品，補鈣迅速之餘，也可以遠離高血壓。
