過年期間大魚大肉，小心蕁麻疹發作！一名20歲的年輕男子，在除夕夜一連吃了數隻蝦子、螃蟹，當晚雙眼、嘴唇紅腫，全身也出現大大小小的風疹塊，癢到無法忍受只就醫，檢查發現為食物引起的急性蕁麻疹。

收治病例的開業皮膚科醫師趙昭明表示，該男子坦承自己曾有蕁麻疹病史，對甲殼類海鮮會過敏，但過年期間抵擋不住美食誘惑，一連吃了數10隻蝦子、2隻螃蟹，才造成蕁麻疹急性發作。

一般民眾在過年期間，會吃下比較多且複雜的食物，若本身體質較敏感，或不小心一口氣吃了過量會引發敏感的食物，就容易產生全身性的蕁麻疹，包括帶殼海鮮、香菇、豆類、筍子，以及醃製類食物，如香腸、臘肉等，甚至高熱量食物，如火鍋，也都可能引發全身性過敏現象。

一旦出現皮膚發癢、起紅疹等症狀，趙昭明建議，要盡快大量喝水，加速體內的過敏物質代謝；若過敏症狀沒有好轉，就必須就醫，利用注射抗組織胺類藥物及服用抗敏感藥物，症狀即能改善，而最好的預防方法，就是不要接觸會引起過敏的食物。
