#  多攝取纖維質 竟可減少關節炎風險？

講到纖維質，一般人多半聯想到減重、通便。近日，美國一項研究發現，飲食含有豐富纖維質，或許還能降低骨性膝關節炎風險，對提升關節健康很有幫助。這項研究成果已發表於線上版〈風濕疾病年刊〉（Annals of the Rheumatic Diseases）。

#### 多攝取纖維質 似乎有助降低膝關節炎風險 研究人員分析美國兩項長期研究數據，根據X光檢驗結果，研究人員發現，膳食纖維說不定可以減少膝關節炎發生機率。另有一些研究也發現，多吃纖維質有助降血壓、減重、減少全身系統性發炎反應，也可改善血糖控制。

研究計畫以有症狀的膝關節炎患者為對象，除了X檢查結果證實患者有骨性關節炎，患者本身也有疼痛、膝蓋僵直等問題，膝蓋疼痛症狀也日趨嚴重。

#### 飲食富含纖維質 對身體好處多多 第一項研究為膝關節炎生活品質研究（OAI），含括近5000名美國男女，他們平均年齡61歲，都在2004年至2006年間罹患關節炎。第二項研究則是美國佛明漢世代研究，這項研究自1971年開始追蹤1200多名成年人、兒童，第一批研究結果在1993至1994年間出爐，平均追蹤至2002年至2005年。

在上述兩項研究中，研究人員運用飲食頻率問卷了解參與者的膳食纖維攝取情況。研究人員分析數據發現，攝取越多纖維質的人，較不容易罹患骨性膝關節炎。研究人員認為，飲食含有豐富纖維質，可以對身體產生一些好處，而這些好處都與減輕關節炎症狀頗有關聯，由此可知，膳食纖維或可對關節產生保護效果。
