Almond Juice and Pork Lung in soup

Sangkap Panimpla

1 baga ng baboy
75g apricot kernels
32g almond kernels
40g bigas
2 lata chicken broth

Ingredients for the broth:
225g minced lean pork
300g chicken

75g apricot kernels
32g almond kernels
40g white rice grain
2 can chicken broth

225g minced lean pork
300g chicken

Salt to taste

 

Pamamraan
  1. Hugasang mabuti ang baga ng baboy sa ilalim ng malakas na tulo ng tubig, hiwain sa piraso. Hugasan ang bigas at kernels at ibabad ng 2 oras. Hugasan ang sangkap para sa broth at saka banlian.
  2. Ipainit ang baga ng baboy sa mainit na palayok. Hugasang muli at lutuin sa sangkap para sa broth at konting tubig. Pag kumulo, pahinaan ang apoy at lutuin ng 3 oras.
  3. Sama-samang I-blend ang kernels, bigas at tubig sa blender. Ilagay ang katas sa muslin.
  4. Ihalo ang katas sa sopas at hayaang kumulo ng 3 minuto. Timplahan ng asin at ihain.
Method
  1. Rinse the pork lung thoroughly under strong, running water, then cut it into pieces. Wash the rice grain and the kernels and soak them for 2 hours. Wash the ingredients for the broth and then blanch it.
  2. Heat the pork lung in a very hot wok. Wash the pork lung again, then cook it with the ingredients for the broth and some water. When it boils, turn the heat down and cook for about 3 hours.
  3. Blend the kernels, rice and some water together in a blender, then extract the juice through a muslin.
  4. Put the kernels juice into the soup and let it boil for 3 minutes. Season with salt and serve.

 

Tips
Gumamit ng nakalatang broth imbes na gawang-bahay na broth. Mag-umpisa sa step (2), iluto ang baga ng baboy sa broth at tubig ng 3 oras.
Practical tips
To make things easier, substitute home-made broth with canned broth. Simply begin from step (2), cook the pork lung with the broth and water for 3 hours and the soup is ready.

 

Ingredients
Cook the pork lung over low heat.
Add water to the kernels, then blend it in a blender to extract its juice.
