Fried Rice with Ginger - Chiu Chow Style

Sangkap Ingredients

80g laman ng manok
80g nabalatang hipon
80g binurong repolyong dahon-mustard
1 itlog
480g bigas
160g luya
konting dahon ng sibuyas

80g chicken fillet
80g shelled shrimp (deveined)
80g preserved leaf mustard cabbage
1 egg
480g rice
160g ginger
a little green onion
Pamamraan
  1. Ihalo ang katas ng luya sa tubig na siyang pangluto sa bigas (ang proporsiyon ng tubig sa bigas ay 8:10).
  2. Hiwain ng pakuwadrado ang binurong repolyo at ibabad sa tubig. Hiwain ang manok at hipon sa maliliit na piraso. Tadtarin ang luya at sibuyas.
  3. Batihin ang itlog at iprito, igisa ang tinadtad na dahon ng sibuyas. Igisa ang manok at hipon, ihalo ang bigas. Kapag uminit ang kanin, idagdag ang luya. Timplahan at ihain ng mainit.
Method
  1. Add some ginger juice into the water to cook the rice (the proportion of water to rice is 8 : 10).
  2. Dice the preserved leaf mustard cabbage and soak it in water. Cut the chicken and shrimp into small pieces. Chop the ginger and the onion.
  3. Beat the egg and fry it, then saute the chopped green onion. Stir-fry the chicken and the shrimp, then add in the rice. When the rice is hot, add the ginger. Season to taste, serve hot.
