Stewed Pumpkin with Ground Pork

Ingredients
pumpkin 10 oz
lean pork 5 oz
dried shrimps 1 tbsp
minced ginger 1/2 tsp
diced spring onion 1 tbsp
Seasonings
light soy 1/2 tsp
cornflour 1 tsp
water 2 tbsp
Marinade
light soy 1/2 tsp
sugar 1/2 tsp
cornflour 1 tsp
sesame oil pinch
pepper pinch
Sauce
light soy 1/2 tbsp
sugar pinch
water 1/2 cup
sesame oil pinch
Method
  1. Peel and Seed the pumpkin. Cut it into large pieces.
  2. Heat 2 tbsp of oil to saute the garlic , then stir in the pumpkin, Add seasonings and 1 cup water over moderate heat until tender. Remove.
  3. Rinse and mince the lean pork. soak the dried shrimps in water until tender and then chop it finely. Put the pork and the shrimps in a bowl, add the marinade and mix well.
  4. Heat 2 tbsp of oil to saute the ginger, then put in the pork and the shrimp to stir-fry until half cooked. Sprinkle a litte wine, stir in the pumpkin, then the thickening. Sprinkle with spring onion to serve.
