Steamed black glutinous rice

Ingredients

240g chicken fillet
160g black glutinous rice
12 slices Chines ham
2 large lotus leaves
adequate chicken broth
1 lemon grass

 
Healing Effect

Supplement the "spirit" and blood, facilitate digestion and strengthen the body.

Method

1. Soak the glutinous rice in water for 6 hours, then steam to cook it. Slice and season the chicken; Soak the ham slices with broth.

2. Wash and dry the lotus leaves, put some glutinous rice on it. On top put the chicken and ham slices and one more layer of glutinous rice and lemon grass. Wrap it up nicely and steam it for about 10 minutes.

Practical Tips:

Add in the lemon glass to enhance the flavour of the rice.
